Description

Symphony is a 57ft long x 11ft 8in wide-beam built by Cammell Laird in 1981. She is fitted with a Perkins Sabre M92B diesel inboard engine.



Symphony is being sold on behalf of a charity in the Leicester area, that offers fully accessible canal boat trips to people living with physical disabilities and mental health conditions. The charity have an excellent reputation and Aquavista are proud to have been asked to work with the Trust to sell their much loved boat, that has given countless hours of pleasure and joy to their clients. Symphony offers the unique chance to buy a boat that is a blank canvass and can be fitted out as a live-aboard boat, or maybe a restaurant boat, but that has a lift for wheelchair users. Symphony has been meticulously maintained, and surveyed every two years, to ensure she has been safe for use and is MCA registered until November 2026.



Her main front cabin is fully open plan, flexible space that is ready to be repurposed and that is flooded with natural light from the large windows and sky lantern in the roof. The toilet is situated to starboard side and is equipped with a pump-out toilet and wash basin. The ‘U’ shape galley follows next and is also to starboard side. The galley is fitted with cupboards, 4 burner hob, 12 volt fridge, laminate worktops and a stainless steel sink with drainer. There is a small cabin at the stern end of the boat that could be utilised as a bedroom or an office. Both the bow and stern are large open areas, giving lots of opportunity for fresh air living and alfresco dining.
