Description
Colvic Craft began in 1964 on the Blackwater Estuary on the East coast of the UK. They were one of the earliest and certainly the most prolific fibreglass boatbuilders around at that time and the range of hulls they produced almost rivals Westerly!
The Colvic 20 is a great example of their distinctive designs, packing a lot into a relatively short overall length with the emphasis on strength of build and usability.
Colvic are known for good seakeeping and with bilge keels and an outboard engine she performs well and takes the ground happily. The current owner has made some adaptations to suit his use, an electric windlass, steps on the side deck and midships cleats make short handed operation safer and easier.
All the interior layouts are different and this one is extremely versatile, a good sized aft deck (with removable enclosure) gives open space but then accommodation you can close off and keep snug when you want to.
She presents nicely and was found clean, fresh and dry below and with plenty of stowage, she's seamanlike on deck too.
