Colvic UFO 31 designed by Holman and Pye with the hull supplied by Colvic Craft. In current ownership since 1994 with only two owners from new. The boat has been maintained and updated throughout the years with hull and superstructure in good condition with original white gel coat. The boat is afloat on it's mooring.
Accommodation is in the original UFO 31 specification of 6 berths in two cabins. The main cabin has 2 single berths and 2 cot berths. A fixed table, dedicated chart table and a galley with a stainless steel sink and gimballed Flavel B700C cooker. The fore cabin has a V berth with infill to make a double. The separate heads is fitted with a Jabsco WC and a sink.
The Hyde sails were renewed in 2018, 130% overlap radial cut R/R Genoa and a cross ply Main with slab reefing and loose foot. Both sails are in pristine condition having been lightly used.
Lazy jacks, halyards and sheets were all replaced in 2022.
A spare R/R 140% overlap Genoa in good condition and a Spinnaker are included.
The stainless steel standing rigging was replaced in 2018. Twin groove forestay with Selden Furlex 200s fitted.
A Beta 20hp engine with shaft drive was fitted in 2009. A Gori 2 blade folding prop was fitted 2011. The Cutlass bearing was replaced 2023.
On deck 2 x two speed Lewmar 40, 2 x two speed Lewmar 24 and 2 x two speed Lewmar 16 winches are fitted.
Instrumentation consists of Autohelm ST50 Wind and VGM, Tridata and Autohelm ST4000. VHF is a Standard Horizon AIS/GPS GX 2200E.
The hull was epoxied from new with additional six coats of two pot epoxy applied in 2009.
The boat is wintered ashore with mast unstepped every year. Standing rigging, halyards and sails are all removed and wintered indoors.
The internal headlining has been removed with the internal shell cleaned and prepared for recovering with ply and material. Work is in progress with headlining material included for completion or to clad as preferred.
A survey report was commissioned in 2019 for insurance purposes .

The Hull is of GRP construction stiffened by substantial moulded longitudinal and transverse stiffeners, glassed/bonded in place interior joinery and plywood bulkheads.
Lead fin keel through bolted to small stub keel formed as part of the hull moulding.
